My snowy walk - winter storm “Hercules” left us with around 20 inches - stay warm!
For me, the start of a new year usually means it’s time to reflect….2013 was at times a tumultuous and strange year for me. It was also full of laughter, birds, good beer, awful beer, learning, good people, annoying people, field work, triumphs, failures, stumbles, and time spent in nature. I changed. I surprised myself. I was reminded of my many flaws. I stared at the stars and at the horizon. I’m constantly learning and adjusting my perspectives — a lifelong endeavor for me, I’m sure. I hope to hug more trees in 2014.
